Michael D. Brady announces his candidacy for
State Representative and receives the endorsement
of State Senator Marc R. Pacheco

Brockton City Councillor and Democratic State Committee Member Michael D. Brady announced his candidacy for State Representative for the Ninth Plymouth District in Brockton with a campaign fundraiser at Joe Angelo’s Café, in the heart of Downtown Brockton.  An exuberant crowd at the well-attended event listened as Brady expressed his enthusiasm to take his experience and commitment to a new level on behalf of the residents of Brockton.

Brady spoke about his years of supporting public safety, smart growth, education and advocacy on behalf of his constituents.  He stated that his longtime experience as a Ward Councillor and School Committee Member as well as his strong working relationships with our current State Legislature make him the most qualified candidate for State Representative.

In attendance at the fundraiser was State Senator Marc R. Pacheco, of Taunton, who represents the First Plymouth and Bristol District.  Senator Pacheco spoke of his first hand knowledge of Michael’s commitment and dedication, stating, “If I know one thing, it’s that no one will work harder than Michael Brady”.

Senator Pacheco described Brady as ‘tirelessly committed to his constituents’, and ‘someone who would truly be a complete representative of the people’.  Brady said of Senator Pacheco’s endorsement, “it is encouraging that someone with such vast experience in State Government feels that I am the most qualified candidate”.

Brady is a lifelong City resident and a Brockton homeowner.  He is currently employed at the Massachusetts State Lottery.
